The Academy is proud of its enduring legacy as the oldest, Catholic, independent, college preparatory high school for young women in the state of New Jersey, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. A former actress and model, Jacqueline Ray, has played numerous roles in both movies and television shows such as Magnum P.I. (1967), In A Flint (1980), and Beyond the World (1981). In addition to modeling and acting, she is best known as the first wife of Tom Selleck, the famous actor and film producer.
Jacqueline Mary Ray was born in Burbank, California USA, on 17 July 1952. So far, she holds American citizenship and is of white ethnicity. Further, there is not known about her early days but she spent most of her childhood in California.

Late 2014, Jacqueline came into a scandal after she was charged by police for hiring a hit-man to kill her son-in-law, Leon Bauchum. Tom's ex-wife paid a man Luis Barker, a total of $12,000, to kill her daughter's partner.
After the murder trial, she was jailed to 18 years in prison where Barker was charged with 29 years in jail. The actress claimed that her daughter Umeko was so scared of the lives because Leon was abusing not only her daughter but also grand-kids.
And the former model clarified she was only trying to save her daughter from enduring and physical violence. The 67-year-old actress, Ray, still in jail as of now and will be released after 12 years.
