Bosch's Damnation Mac OS

I got two of them: Cold Case Summer and Bosch's Damnation. Neither one runs in full screen, but they're playable. Still can't get the second game in the series: Hope Springs Eternal. I've got everything else on the PC. I'm going to update the OS on the Mac and that will cause me to lose the virtual PC I have on it, so I'll lose Hope Springs. In modern America, consumerism has encouraged people to seek happiness through constant expansion of their material standard of living. Consumerism has led to a growth of status consumption and want-creation, both of which increase consumption without contributing to happiness. Adam Smith observed that lasting happiness is found in tranquility as opposed to consumption. In their quest for more. Download macOS Catalina for an all‑new entertainment experience. Aha! I made this work! Although I'm a confirmed Maccie, I have a laptop PC just for games and a little web surfing. I have never and will never configure the email on it (yes, I know you can still get viruses from the web, but I don't go to many places that are likely to infect my machine). However, when you buy Carol Reed games, you get the link to the game via email. Last year they kindly sent me the link to Profound Red via Facebook Messenger, and that worked--I was able to run and install the game from that link. In fact, I managed to send some older Carol Reed download links to FB messenger and those worked too!

But this time the Nyqvists didn't send an actual link. Instead, they sent a page from which you could choose the download you wanted (PC or Mac, HD or standard). So, I downloaded the PC version onto my Mac and copied the stuffed icon to a memory stick, and stuck that into the PC laptop. Took me a bit of tweaking because I don't know much about PCs, but at last I found it by looking in the computer innards (the memory stick simply shows up as an icon that you can open on a Mac, but of course PCs have to be more complicated than that.)

I took me a few tries, but I did it! I installed the game on the PC laptop! It plays! So, this will be my next game.

Another nice thing: I downloaded the above artwork from the Nyqvist's link onto my Mac and started this blog post on the Mac, saved it in the innards of the blog, and am finishing it on the PC. Sometimes I love technology. (sometimes)

And thank you Nyqvists for at last producing their games for both PC and Mac platforms. If this transfer hadn't worked I still could have played the game on my Mac. Hope they'll port their older games to Macs too!

Update: So I decided to try to move with my memory stick the three games I could never manage to transfer to the PC. I got two of them: Cold Case Summer and Bosch's Damnation. Neither one runs in full screen, but they're playable. Still can't get the second game in the series: Hope Springs Eternal. I've got everything else on the PC. I'm going to update the OS on the Mac and that will cause me to lose the virtual PC I have on it, so I'll lose Hope Springs Eternal. Well, I replayed it awhile back. If I ever get ambitious to have the whole series on the laptop, I'll just buy it again.
