Alignment City Mac OS
- Position and align objects in Numbers on Mac You can align multiple objects relative to one another, or specify an object’s location using its x and y coordinates. Note: If an object is placed inline with text, you can reposition it only by dragging (or cutting and pasting) it to a new location in the current text flow or to another text box.
- You can use MacVector to align related DNA or Protein sequences. MacVector uses the ClustalW algorithm to automatically align any number of sequences and provides a sophisticated editor that lets you fine tune the alignments.

Changing the horizontal alignment
Note: Because the last line of text in a paragraphis often shorter than the other lines, it may not appear to bejustified. To justify the last line in a justified paragraph, placethe insertion point at the end of the last line, and then pressShift-Enter
(Shift-Return
on a Mac). Use theEnter
key on the main keyboard, not on the keypad. Thiswill insert a soft return (i.e., a non-paragraph-ending return). Beaware that justifying a very short line of text may look odd becauseof the large amount of space that will be created between the words.
